- The Blues got goals from Vladimir Tarasenko, Maxim Lapierre and Alexander Steen in snapping their two-game losing streak Saturday against the Senators in Ottawa. Brian Elliott got the win in his return to Ottawa, where he began his NHL career. The Blues will wrap up their trip with another day game on Sunday in Winnipeg.

- Saint Louis University suffered its first loss of the season today, falling 62-56 to Texas A & M - Corpus Christi at Chaifetz Arena. A late 10-0 run wiped out a Saint Louis lead. Ash Yacoubou led the Billikens with 13 points.
