- Ryan Miller won his third consecutive game since being acquired by the Blues, stopping 21 of 22 shots in a 2-1 win at Nashville Thursday night. Ian Cole scored one goal for the Blues and assisted on Magnus Paarjarvi's game-winning goal.
- The University of Missouri announced today that football coach Gary Pinkel has agreed to a contract extension that runs through the 2020 season. As part of the new agreement Pinkel received a pay raise, making his new annual salary $3.1 million.
- The Cardinals game in Ft. Myers against the Minnesota Twins today was rained out. Adam Wainwright had been scheduled to make his first start of the spring. The Cardinals have split-squad games on Friday, in Jupiter against the Marlins and in Port St. Lucie against the Mets. Wainwright is set to start the game in Jupiter.
