The Cardinals will open the 2015 Spring Training season on March 5 against Miami at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla. The reporting date for pitchers and catchers Is Feb. 19 with the first full-squad workout set for Feb. 25.

-  The San Jose Sharks scored with 21 seconds left in regulation to tie the Blues then won the game 3-2 with a power-play goal with 38 seconds left in overtime Saturday night in San Jose. Alexander Steen was called for tripping with 1:03 to play in the overtime to put the Sharks on the power-play.

- The Rams will play their final home game of the season on Sunday, hosting the New York Giants at 3:05 p.m. at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams need to beat the Giants and win their final game next Sunday at Seattle to finish the season with a .500 record. 

- Rayvonte Rice hit a three-point basket at the buzzer to give Illinois a 62-59 win over Missouri in the annual Braggin Rights game Saturday at Scottrade Center. The Tigers had tied the game on a basket by Wesley Clark with 17 seconds to play.

- The Saint Louis University Billikens will host Vermont at 1 p.m. Sunday at Chaifetz Arena, The Billikens will be looking to win their third game in a row.
