- Shaun Hill was intercepted at the goal line as the Rams were set to score a go-ahead touchdown in the final minute Sunday and they lost 27-24 to the Chargers in San Diego. The Rams had reached the four-yard line after a 27-yard pass from Hill to Kenny Britt and a two-yard run but Marcus Gilchrest stepped in front of Britt for the interception on the next play.
- Winnipeg native Ryan Reaves broke a 2-2 tie when he scored in the third period Sunday to lead the Blues to a 4-2 win over the Jets in Winnipeg. The Blues ended their four-game trip with a 2-2 record after also defeating Ottawa on Saturday. They host Ottawa on Tuesday night at Scottrade Center.
- Saint Louis University suffered its first loss of the season today, falling 62-56 to Texas A & M - Corpus Christi at Chaifetz Arena. A late 10-0 run wiped out a Saint Louis lead. Ash Yacoubou led the Billikens with 13 points.
- The Missouri Tigers moved up to 17th in the AP too 25 football poll after their 29-21 win Saturday night at Tennessee. They will win the SEC East with a victory Friday over Arkansas in the regular-season finale.
