 - Adam Wainwright could not protect a pair of three-run leads and the Cardinals did not get a hit after the fourth inning in losing 5-4 to the Phillies Friday night in Philadelphia, snapping their four-game winning streak.

 - Shelby Miller will get the start in the second game of the series tonight while David Buchanon is scheduled to start for the Phillies.

- The Rams will have four of their injured starters back for their third pre-season game of the year tonight in Cleveland. Offensive linemen Jake Long and Rodger Saffold, defensive tackle Michael Brockers and cornerback Janoris Jenkins all will be playing for the first time this season. The Rams expect to play their starters for the first half.
