Tigers Down Valpo, 56-41, for Anderson's First Mizzou Win

Head Coach Kim Anderson earned his first win at the helm of the Mizzou Men's Basketball program on Sunday as the Tigers (1-1) topped Valparaiso (1-1), 56-41, at Mizzou Arena. Sophomore guard Wes Clark (Detroit, Mich.) scored a career-high 16 points in the win in addition to controlling a season-high six rebounds.

- Blues goalie Brian Elliott has a sprained right knee and his status is "week to week" according to coach Ken Hitchcock. He will be re-evaluated on Sunday. The team has recalled goalie Jordan Binnington from its Chicago affiliate of the AHL to serve as the backup for Jake Allen aind also is bringing in veteran goalie Martin Brodeur for a week-long tryout starting on Friday.  

- The Missouri Tigers salvaged one win out of their three-game trip to Hawaii, defeating host Chaminade 74-60 on Wednesday. Guard Namon Wright led the Tigers with 21 points while Montagne Gill-Caesar added 18.
