- Facing a fourth down and three at their own 18-yard line with 2:55 to play, leading Seattle by two points, the Rams converted a fake punt on a pass from Johnny Hekker to Benny Cunningham to hold on and defeat the Seahawks 28-26 Sunday to snap a three-game losing streak. It was a great day for the Rams' special teams, who also got a 90-yard punt return for a score from Stedman Bailey and a 75-yard kick return from Cunningham to set up another touchdown.

- The Blues closed out a three-game road trip with a 3-0 loss in Anaheim on Sunday night. The Blues were shut out in two of the three games, also losing a 1-0 shootout to the LA Kings. Their only win was a 6-1 victory at Arizona on Saturday night. Blues forward Paul Stastny will be out for at least after suffering a shoulder injury in Saturday night's game. The Blues next game is at home on Thursday night against Vancouver.

- Cardinals manager Mike Matheny and GM John Mozeliak will hold their end of the season news conferences today at Busch Stadium.
