Matt Adams hit the first walk-off home run for the Cardinals since David Freese in game six of the 2011 World Series Monday night to beat the Pirates at Busch Stadium.
The Cardinals optioned pitcher Marco Gonzales to Memphis on Monday and recalled pitcher Tyler Lyons from the Triple A club.
The Frontier League announced the players for their All-Star Game which will be held in Sauget, IL, right across the river from St. Louis at the home of the Gateway Grizzlies.

Down to their final strike, the Marlins rallied for two runs in the ninth inning Saturday off Trevor Rosenthal and Sam Freeman to beat the Cardinals at Busch Stadium and snapping their three-game losing streak.
