- The Rams promoted linebacker Marshall McFadden from the practice squad to the active roster on Tuesday, taking the spot which opened when Austin Pettis was released om Monday.

- Former Missouri defensive end Michael Sam was released from the Cowboys practice squad on Tuesday. He had been released by the Rams in their final roster cuts before the regular season began.

- The Blues will be without center Paul Stastny on Thursday night when they host the Vancouver Canucks at Scottrade Center. Stastny will miss at least a week because of a shoulder injury.
