An unusual historic designation that’s taken some baseball fans by surprise that was the result of intensive research inspired by the curious Hot Springs connection of Babe Ruth.

- Odell Beckham Jr. scored a pair of touchdowns and the New York Giants rolled up 514 yards of total offense to beat the Rams 37-27 on Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams' streak of having not allowed a touchdown in three consecutive games came to a crashing halt as they fell to 6-9 on the season with one game left, next Sunday at Seattle.

-  Freshman Milik Yarbrough recorded the first doube-double of his career with 10 points and 13 rebounds to lead Saint Louis University to a 58-55 win over Vermont on Sunday at Chaifetz Arena. The Billikens have now won three consecutive games to raise their season record to 8-4.

= The Blues will be back in action on Tuesday night in Colorado, trying to salvage one win out of their three-game trip after losing the first two games, in Los Angeles, and falling in overtime Saturday night at San Jose.
