- The Blues snapped out of their early-season lull, having lost three of their previous four games, with a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday night at Scottrade Center. Ryan Reaves and Dmitij Jaskin scored 1:45 apart in the final two minutes of the second period to break a 1-1 tie.

- Maty Mauk hit Bud Sasser with two touchdown passes in the second half to lift the Missouri Tigers to a 24-14 win over Vanderbilt Saturday in Columbia. Russell Hansbrough scored the other touchdown on a 10-yard run as the Tigers improved to 3-1 in the SEC and 6-2 overall.

- The Rams will take on the Chiefs in Kansas City today. Kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium is at noon.
