Blues Celebrate Tkachuk with Special Tribute
The Blues will celebrate Keith Tkachuk’s recent induction into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame with special tribute videos and more during the February 22 game vs. the Boston Bruins. Tkachuk will be on-hand prior to the game for a ceremonial puck drop and all fans in attendance will receive a Keith Tkachuk poster.
Blues Recall T.J. Hensick
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled forward T.J. Hensick from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Hensick, 26, has appeared in 53 games with the Rivermen this season and ranks third in the AHL with 64 points including 19 goals and 45 assists.
The Lansing, Michigan native was originally acquired by the Blues from Colorado in exchange for Julian Talbot on June 17, 2010.
Blues Place Jamie Langenbrunner on Injured Reserve
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has placed forward Jamie Langenbrunner on injured reserve. Langenbrunner suffered a broken bone in his left foot Sunday in Chicago and will be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Langenbrunner, 36, has posted 21 points including four goals and 17 assists in 57 games with the Blues this season. The 6’1, 202-pound forward is just eight games shy of becoming the 21st American-born player in NHL history to reach 1,100 games played.
The Cloquet, Minnesota native was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 6, 2011.
The Blues are in second place in the Western Conference after losing to the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 in a road game on Sunday.

Blues Assign Goaltender Ben Bishop
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced earlier this week the club has assigned goaltender Ben Bishop to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Bishop, 25, has appeared in 36 games with Peoria this season and has posted a .929 save percentage, a 2.25 goals against average and six shutouts along with a 23-13-0 record. The 6’7, 215-pound goaltender was recently named MVP of the 2012 AHL All-Star Game.
A native of St. Louis , Bishop was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
